Perhaps you've seen them perform at the Academy Awards - or maybe you've seen their Hyundai commercial. Now you can see them in person at Norton Auditorium! Pilobolus is an internationally renowned dance company, whose origins are traced to a 1971 Dartmouth College dance class taught by Alison Chase. Their performances have long been characterized by a strong element of physical between the bodies and the performers, and exaggeration or contortions of the human form (or other anthropomorphic forms), often verging gymnastics.
